Extremely pumped to share this episode with the legend himself, Alvin Aguilar - President and founder of the URCC, founder and head coach of DEFTAC Ribeiro Jiu-jitsu Philippines, and currently serving as the President of the Wrestling Association of the Philippines. Known for being the first home-grown Filipino Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Black Belt, Alvin is an incredibly accomplished and decorated martial artist, with numerous titles and medals won through the years. In fact, he is widely considered to be the Father of Philippine MMA! Aside from being one of, if not the most successful martial artists in the Philippines, Alvin is also a pioneering and savvy entrepreneur, founding URCC and helping organize an entire industry and giving hundreds of Filipino mixed martial artists the opportunity to grow their skills and earn a living doing so. From humble beginnings, the URCC has continued to expand and is the longest running MMA promotion in Asia. With DEFTAC, he has trained several MMA champions as well with chapters all over the country teaching and training more future champions. With all these accomplishments and titles, what really makes me respect and look up to Alvin though is his being a family man. In fact, listen to the very end of this episode to hear from him directly what he wants to be remembered for ultimately. Follow Alvin on IG @alvinaguilarknows, URCC @urccmmaph, DEFTAC @deftac_philippines, and Alvin's Youtube channel where he teaches martial arts, survival skills, and more! For more about the podcast, check out the official website - Kendrick Loves to BrandFor free brand resources from Antidote, head on over to this link - Antidote Brand Resources
