Diary of a Doer

Business

I used to think that only I could speak for myself.  As a business owner, I didn't think that someone else could know me well enough to speak on my behalf.  So I found myself being stuck handling all the sales calls, all my speaking pitches, my event coordination, and even networking all by myself.  Eventually, I ran out of runway doing it all by myself.  It definitely limited my reach because I thought I personally had to be behind every single new relationship and touchpoint.  So I was left with only two choices – either hire an EA or continue to play small. Today's episode is about having someone on your team who can speak on your behalf.  Your executive assistant serves as an extension of you.  This means you need to be able to train them to read your mind – well enough to make decisions for you in certain areas – so then you can focus more on growing your business. In this episode, you will hear: The benefits of empowering your EA to speak on your behalf The three major areas you can empower your EA with The four steps in training your EA to read your mind The dos and don’ts during the training process   Subscribe and Review Have you subscribed to my podcast?
