Tune in for my interview with Jasmin Barco of Eco-Cycle to hear about a video series to help answer your burning questions about recycling and composting. You'll also hear how you can make a difference by tackling a waste reduction project in your community! Reducing waste seems like it should be easy, but let's face it. It's complicated! That's why Eco-Cycle, a zero waste nonprofit in Colorado, has developed a new series of videos to cut through the confusion.  The series is a collaboration between COPIRG, Environment Colorado, Sierra Club, NRDC, and Denver Compost Challenge. The videos include both English and Spanish versions specifically for Denver.  The videos cover everything from where our stuff comes from, to details of why and how to recycle and compost, and the problems with plastics.  In the podcast, Jasmin also highlighted the Denver Recycling Directory. This is a handy resource is you want to know where to recycle anything from aerosol cans and action figures, to yard waste and yoga mats.  Start a Zero Waste Initiative or Team! Are you ready to start a zero waste initiative? Join the Eco-Cycle Eco-Leaders to find out how to be a zero waste champion.  Or, volunteer with the Denver Compost Challenge or start a compost initiative in your city!  Get your team together and launch your initiative as part of the 2020 Climate Action Challenge. Eco-Cycle and Denver Eco-Leaders will be on hand to mentor you along the way.    More Resources: www.GreenTeamAcademy.com
