Can a small thing bring you to anger in a matter of seconds? Do you find yourself repeating things you’ve sworn you’d never do again? Do you feel your emotions controlling your actions and words, leading to regret or shame? We all deal with temptation. For each person, the struggle is unique, but the battle is ongoing for all of us. However, Paul tells the Saints in Corinth something very hopeful: “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”* Has that been true in your life? Have you been able to escape every temptation, and bear it? If not, there is a good reason. President Spencer W. Kimball stated that in our fight against Satan and his forces we are fighting “an enemy so powerful, entrenched, and organized that we are likely to be vanquished if we are not strong, well trained and watchful.”  We need strength!
