“The riskiest thing I could do is have a job, and the least risky thing I could do is run a business.”   Iggy Domagalski is CEO of Tundra Process Solutions, a Western Canadian distributor and manufacturer of innovative process technologies. Tundra has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and an ‘Imagine’ company for outstanding community support.   Iggy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Asper School of Business, where there is an award in his name that was created by his fellow students, and has been given away annually since 2004. He has also been named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.   You can find Iggy on LinkedIn here, or at Tundra’s website: www.tundrasolutions.ca   Iggy’s a Canadian top 40 under 40 winner who discusses his beginnings in entrepreneurship starting a marketing business at 12 years old. In this episode we discuss what he learned from his first business that he still tells people to this day (it’s that it’s really hard to get people to pay you for something); what he learned from his parents about risk (that we need to take more risks in our lives); and what he’s learned from managing through 3 recessions in 14 years.  Iggy also has a tremendous perspective on the opportunities that are coming out of the pandemic, how to assess whether you should be taking more risk, and if so, how to quantify it; the four things that matter when you’re looking for meaningful work and a whole lot more...
