If 2020 were a movie what genre would it be? Given the mutant plagues, UFOs, and seeing Bigfoot in South Dakota, I was convinced we were in a Sci-Fi film. However, after watching our lawmakers massacre the 2nd 2020 stimulus bill, I'm now convinced this is a horror flick. They literally cut the payment in half. (Cue chainsaw sound FX) Theatrics aside, the 2nd 2020 stimulus bill is a disgrace to our democracy and an insult to the American people. I'm shocked to find the president just signed his name to the bill after addressing the nation with impressive rhetoric speaking avidly against it. This 5600 + page document contains language suggesting illegal video streaming could become a felony. If you're stealing Netflix or watching pirated movies on your Firestick, this could apply to you. Besides the sneaky loopholes, power exploits, and political fuckery, our elected officials are giving a boat ton of money to other nations and institutions. Perhaps our dear lawmakers did not get the memo: THE TOP PRIORITY IS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!! $600 is a slap in the face. While negotiations are on the table for $2000 payments, no bill has been signed or sealed. Get your popcorn ready, the sh * t shows about to begin.
