In a battle for first place in the Greater Thumb West, it would take an extra four minutes of basketball to decide the winner. Reese led as many as 8 points, but the Bad Axe Hatchets would battle back countless times to tie the game, if not take the lead. After the final buzzer, Reese would take the win 82-80 (OT) and a two-game lead in the GTW standings.
