Grace Christian Church Sermons

Religion & Spirituality

Now there is an interesting wording in this core value that, to me, makes it stand out from the others.  You see the previous Core Values can be considered ‘reminders or prompts’ that align us as a church and as individuals with the heart, mind, & goals of God as revealed through Jesus Christ. This Core Value isn’t a prompt or reminder but rather an exhortation, or an expectation placed upon us because it is a core value that appeals to US ‘being a specific way’ now that we are, in Christ.  This is all communicated by the use of one single word ‘SHOULD’ and there, in that word is our expectation… if you are a Christian, if you have trusted in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins, & committed your life to Him through faith in Jesus, then according to THE BIBLE (not the core value), then you SHOULD yearn for growth & devotion as His disciple. Core Value #7: Spiritual growth — every believer should yearn for continuous growth and become a fully devoted disciple of Christ. to watch the service click on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ22RE6SZBo&t=1654s Have a blessed day saints!!
