Dr. Lewis obtained his medical degree in 1990 at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, where he grew up. He completed specialty training in psychiatry at the University of Toronto in 1996, followed by a two year fellowship in neuroimaging research and a Master of Science in Neuroscience, both at the University of Toronto.
