On today's episode of the Legal Drugs Podcast, host, Angela Stoyanovitch, spoke with entrepreneur and consultant, Jody DeBold. Jody speaks about the importance of relationship in what she describes as the early phase of the pharmaceutical process. Jody's passion for helping people is undeniable. You may hear Jody and Angela get a little choked up when we start to think about the impact our industry has on everyone's lives. Jody's experience inside this business has been focused around histology and pathology where animal and human tissues are evaluated as part of the end-life of a study. She talks about the importance of drug drug interaction studies and 24-hour studies, for example, to help doctors figure out the correct dosages for their patients. Because of Jody's insight to this mysterious industry, she proudly has advised her own parents who have suffered with disease and looked to legal drugs for support and treatment. This episode was recorded live at the Society of Toxicology annual meeting in Baltimore, MD in March 2019. So please excuse some of the background noise as people walk behind us.
