Breaking news overnight from North Carolina, where a confirmed tornado killed at least three people and injured at least 10 more in Brunswick County, in the southeastern part of the state. That tornado is part of a dangerous weather system wreaking havoc across much of the country. More than 115 million Americans will be under winter weather alerts as another storm system approaches. More than four million people have lost electricity across the South, mostly in Texas, where an ice storm and bitter cold have forced rolling blackouts. The mayor of Austin, Steve Adler, joins us to discuss the difficulties facing his residents. A 9-11 style commission will be established to investigate last month's assault on the Capitol.
