From the arctic clutches of Chicagoland, I deliver to you Podcast 9. All of what you are about to hear was recorded at a party in the Elgin area. Surprisingly, almost all of my contributors and the other party guests live in the same neighborhood...something is going on in that subdivision! I apologize for the quality of the recording, although I was two rooms away, these ladies got pretty rowdy in the background. Here's hoping they invite me over again to get some more ghost stories for the podcasts. There were some serious doozies that I didn't get on the digital recorder.
I begin with Sherry and I recounting my haunted birthday misadventures. I had an epic day that included a private Weird and Haunted Tour with Sunny from Weird Chicago Tours. I've told you all before, but I'm going to tell you again. There is no better tour company in Chicago. Sherry, Arra and I stayed overnight at the Congress Hotel on the haunted 12th floor with some strange happenings that even made the Congress concierge uncomfortable! I will try to stay there again in room 441, which is the most haunted room - and no one knows why!
The psychic party host, Laura tells stories about her former and current haunted residences. Sherry and Denise chime in with their experiences in Laura's old house. Denise remembers some unexplained events on the day that her mother passed. Then Sonia and her daughter, Anna, share about their haunted house. Stephanie complete's our great story round with fond memories of a ghost from her childhood house, as well as some recent paranormal events in her current home. She also gave me permission to share a couple of awesome ghost photos taken in Jackson Square, Louisiana!
