Gods Word Community Church The Churches of the New Testament Sermon on 2 Thessalonians 2Looking to Eternity: God Saves From the Darkness:In this chapter Paul reassures the panicked disciples of Thessalonica. They were afraid that they had missed the coming of the Lord. But, Paul tells them two things that must happen before Jesus returns, a great falling away and the coming of the man of sin. Both Jesus and the man of sin are said to be coming. Both have a gospel and both say that they alone should be worshiped.
