Chick Lit Murder Mysteries

Comedy

In this episode we start our discussion of Crime Seen, by Victoria Laurie. Abby is recovering from being shot in the chest and finds herself struggling through PTSD. Dutch and Milo are preparing to present arguments against release at a parole hearing for the man who confessed to killing Milo's old detective partner. Unfortunately Abby's intuition tells her the man who confessed didn't actually commit the crime and that there is WAY more to the story. Her PI friend Candace moves to Royal Oaks to hang her shingle, Abby gets roped into undercover work at a shady mortgage company, and is the most hilariously terrible liar ever. Katy sympathizes with Abby over sociopathic cats, Frannie is still losing her mind over "The Staircase" owl theory, and we discuss just how dumb guys can be when it comes to birthdays and anniversaries.
