This episode of the GCSAA Podcast features Troy Flanagan, the director of golf maintenance at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, the host course for this month's U.S. Women's Open. This will be a groundbreaking major championship for golf course maintenance as the volunteer crew will be made up largely of women turfgrass professionals, so we talk with Troy about this effort, overall preparations for the event and the club's new maintenance facility.
