Welcome to the fourth edition of Blue Noise, the Birmingham City podcast from Birmingham Live.
This week it's all about Blues' youth, the lifeblood of any football club.

We discuss how Garry Monk has made a big thing about integrating some of the home-grown players into the senior set-up.

We reflect on Wes Harding's Championship debut and the prospect of other academy products making the step up.

But it's not all about the seniors, Blues' Under 18s have their own business to take care of with an FA Youth Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Wednesday, April 4.

The game kicks off at 7pm at St Andrew's, the first leg of a two-leg tie, which sees Chelsea looking to win the trophy for the fifth year running.

However Steve Spooner's Under 18 stand defiantly in their way and Alex Dicken caught up with the manager to discuss the philosophy running through the squad.

This week's show is presented by Brian Dick and Shane Ireland, who also look ahead to a decisive week in Blues' campaign. For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy
