I'm excited to introduce this week's guest, Susan Jagannath. She was recently a guest on episode 391, where we talked about her journey to the Valley of Flowers in India. This time, we're talking about the Camino Inglés, which she's walked twice to research her book on the trail. I originally planned to walk the Camino Inglés last year, but of course travel restrictions got in the way. Now, I'm hoping to put it in the calendar for 2022. While the Camino is not yet open for international visitors, this is a great time to plan a future adventure on the trail.   About Susan Susan Jagannath successfully combined a passion for reading, a love of writing and a fascination for technology, to create a career in technical writing. With over 50 technical manuals (not) to her name, she finally decided to use her writing and publishing skills for herself and publish her own books independently. To her mild surprise, her very niche books went bestseller regularly, that's when she realized she had a system that could help others write and publish as well. As an army brat and then military wife, her life included seven different schools, three universities and a couple of emergency evacuations from conflict zones. Travel and adventure were a normal part of life. She now believes in seizing every opportunity to have a new adventure, even when we can’t travel freely. Whether it’s camping on the beach in Australia, trekking in the Himalayas, kayaking in Queensland, whitewater rafting down the Ganges, or walking the Camino in Spain, her philosophy is to pack it into one or two weeks to create memories for a lifetime, (and disconnect from television and computer games). Susan is now on the next adventure of her life, traveling without travel in the pandemic, helping corporate escapees write their first bestseller, and learning to be an awesome grandmother.   Website: https://www.susanjagannath.com Email: susan@susanjagannath.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/susan.jagannath Twitter:  https://twitter.com/susanjagannath                  Instagram:   https://www.instagram.com/susanjagannath LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/susan-jagannath-books/   Listen To This Episode        What You'll Learn What is the Camino Inglés and how it compares to other Caminos Why you might want to choose this Camino over the Camino Francés How to prepare for a long-distance walk like this The best time of the year to go How to budget for a Camino Inglés adventure   Things We Discussed Margery Kempe https://amzn.to/2QLJqYI The Kokoda Trail https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kokoda_Track Boots to Bliss, by Claude Tranchant https://amzn.to/3m7jClu The Camino Ingles: 6 days to Santiago, by Susan Jagannath https://amzn.to/3rDQLX8   Related Episodes 396 Jane Talbot ~ How to Improve Your Sports Mindset 391 Susan Jagannath ~ Hiking the Valley of Flowers in the Himalayas (now with downloadable transcript!) 368 Yvette Webster ~ How to Take Your Hiking to the Next Level (now with downloadable transcript!) 359 Adam Wells ~ How To Prepare For Your First Long Distance Trail (now with downloadable transcript!) 354 Stephen Marriott ~ The Life-changing Magic of Walking a Long-Distance Trail (now with downloadable transcript!)   Connect With Holly Website Facebook Instagram Twitter Pinterest Google+ LinkedIn   How to Subscribe Click here to subscribe via iTunes Click here to subscribe via RSS Click here to subscribe via Stitcher   Help Spread the Word If you enjoyed this episode, please head on over to iTunes and kindly leave us a rating and a review!
