For today's episode you need to have read THE LAST THREE CHAPTERS of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We discuss the events of these chapters, dive into common immediate and delayed trauma responses as well as ASD and PTSD, and speculate about what we might see in book 5.  Trigger warning: this episode does talk about common responses to trauma. Things like self-destructive behaviors and substance abuse are mentioned, although they are not gone into detail about. Just wanted to give you a heads up just in case.  HOUSE POINT TOTALS:  Hufflepuff: 2270  Slytherin: 1040  Ravenclaw: 560  Gryffindor: 505 Earn points by participating in Mindful Magic Mondays, trivia, and rating and reviewing the podcast!  Share your thoughts! firstyearspodcast @ gmail . com or @firstyearspod (Twitter and Insta) SOURCES:  “21 Common Reactions to Trauma.” Psychology Today, Sussex Publishers, www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/think-act-be/201609/21-common-reactions-trauma.
