The music industry has been hit hard by Brexit. Rules around the movement of people and goods mean that touring Europe is near-impossible for many artists, with cost and administrative burden putting those tour dates out of reach.With the music industry having shifted in recent years towards a touring-led revenue model, this constitutes an unprecedented governmental attack on one of the UK's most celebrated industries. James McVey of pop rock band The Vamps, who have multiple top-10 singles and have headlined the O2 arena five years in a row, joined us to discuss the impact of Brexit on the music industry and what we can do about this.
