A truly inspiring story and amazing individual. Enjoy!One week before his wife was due to have their first child Bruce stopped to help with a car accident on his way to work. While helping he was hit by a car and almost lost his life. Bruce was then rush to the hospital and in surgery all day with life-threatening injuries. Thankfully now he is recovering and doing well but he had to lose his left leg from the knee down. When faced with the choice of either losing his leg or keeping it and taking the chance it might cost him his life, the choice was clear. Losing his leg would mean being with his wife and seeing his baby girl grow up.When you listen to Bruce's story and the people that where there tell what happened, you come to realize, that by all accounts, Bruce should not have survived. There are many contributing factors for his survival. His wife, his unborn daughter, the quick thinking of some amazing individuals who happened to be there that day as well.Bruce also had been strength training for a couple years at the time of the accident.
