Dr. Kara Cooney is an Egyptologist and professor of Egyptian art and architecture at UCLA. She’s author of the books “When Women Ruled the World: Six Queens of Egypt” and “The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut's Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt.” Cooney also produced the Discovery Channel series “Out of Egypt," which is available on Netflix and Amazon.
