This week, I’m bringing you yet another treasured episode in my throwback series which I’m running for a few weeks while I take some time to work on my writing. As you all know by know, I absolutely love throwbacks because they give us all the chance to reflect and see if we have been applying the information and strategies offered in these episodes, and to determine what we may need to do differently or where we may need to take more action in these areas. So once again, whether you’ve heard them before, or whether this is your first time, you are going to get something valuable out of these episodes, which just happen to be some of my favorites, so get your notepad ready and prepare yourself to soak up the knowledge and wisdom that is coming your way. The interview I have chosen for you all today is so very special, as I sit down with one of my wonderful clients, Shea Green, to talk about her life and the transformation that she continues to experience as we work together. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Shea helped develop an LGBTQ group as a teenager, and later on hosted a lesbian support group as a volunteer. She is that remarkable type of individual who always steps up and will always be there for the people in her life whenever they need her. I find myself constantly in awe of her, and I know you will be as well as you listen in today. Shea begins by sharing her remarkable adoption story and the impact that it has had on her life. She also describes her ‘coming out’ experience, her struggle for identity, the transformation which she continues to undergo, and the power and necessity of stepping into confidence with both her work and her relationships. We finish by looking at how Shea describes herself these days and her current life goals. As you listen, you will realize, as I have, that this is one amazing individual who is going places. I just know that you will find some aspect of her story that resonates with you and helps you see what is truly possible when you are ready and willing to put in the work necessary to have the life you want and deserve.
