https://terriblehappytalks.com/Mark Baxter is a Psychologist, musician,  and advocate for research into the potential use of psychedelics as an assisted therapy to treat chronic and ongoing mental illness.  His clinical expertise and interest areas include post-traumatic stress, trauma recovery, psychosis, addiction, and addressing experiences of existential dilemma, anguish or distress. Aside from his academic and professional qualifications, at his core, Mark is a seeker who possesses an innate calling to help others, be of service to his community and progress in all that he does. When he is not listening to thrash-metal or wishing he could ride a skateboard, Mark can be found honing his Muay Thai Kickboxing skills at his local gym. He is truely a unique human who radiates empathy and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. This episode starts a little slow, but be prepared for some serious knowledge bombs to be dropped by Mark in the latter half of our chat. So tune in as Mark shares his personal experiences, challenges and hopes for the future.
