Buddies in the Big Apple

Everyday Black men and women endure racial discrimination, prejudice, injustice, and oppression. Racism is a national crisis and has been since America’s founding. Reading the recent stories of George Flyod and Breonna Taylor, who are among thousands of other Black people victim of police brutality is upsetting and disheartening. I’ve thought very hard about how to approach this week’s episode, while also being conscious of my privilege. In this week’s episode I hope to continue a broader discussion of racial inequality in this country.
