Miscellaneous

In this episode we interview Joshua Shea, a former city council member of central Maine, a prominent magazine publisher, and film festival founder. This was the persona everyone saw on the outside, however, on the inside he had been battling porn addiction for 20 years. The porn addiction would eventually lead to the lowest point in his life when he was arrested for talking to an underaged girl, unbeknown to him, in a chatroom. This valley ultimately lead him to serving six months in jail, becoming a registered sex offender, and with continued support and therapy a beacon of hope for others. Now, you maybe thinking why interview Josh on this sensitive and maybe controversial topic? Well you see, Josh has made it his mission to share this deep dark story with the goal of stopping this from happening to someone else.
