Nicole is the quintessential Northern Californian the rest of us read about in awe. She has shaped her entire lifestyle around her utmost passions with uncompromising exactness. The bicycle is one of her passions. When older Americans are considering retirement into an assisted living high-rise, Nicole is planning her next multi month’s travels on her trusted friend - her bicycle. Fully loaded with her possessions in panniers, she leaves Northern California in July to ride the “Southern Tier”. A bicycle route that stretches from San Diego, California to St. Augustine, Florida, 3110-miles, the Southern Tier will be her Universe for four-months - maybe longer. Since Nicole goes totally dark, electronics-free, (not even GPS), “I use people-GPS”, during her travels, hopefully she will update us when she returns, in 2019.
