David from Vintage Geeks, Tales from the Yard and The Leftover Army Super Slam Wrestling Jam has agreed to cohost this new hopefully monthly segment where we will discuss and rate a book to movie adaptation. Our maiden voyage has us reviewing the groundbreaking 2011 novel Ready Player One written by Ernest Cline. Do they boys love this ode to 80's pop culture post distopian future novel? They then change their focus to the 2018 movie of the same name directed by Steven Spielberg. Does the movie live up to the hype from the book? Is Spielberg able to translate the feel from the novel onto the big screen? Tune in to find out.
