Welcome to The Squared Circle Podcast! I am your host Marie Shadows! I discuss the relationship between AEW, IMPACT Wrestling, and NJPW in this episode! I dive into why Hangman Adam Page losing to Brian Cage doesn't work to help build Hangman's star power. I also give examples of how wrestlers changed their character due to certain circumstances. Jay White and Henare would always be my go-to standardize example explanations because their stories help bring a bigger picture to help fans of Hangman see that he needs to evolve. I discuss that IMPACT should be angry now that Kenny Omega has both of their belts but IMPACT Wrestling went on as usual. I also explain that the top story in AEW, the characters that are acting out the story have yet to get closure from all the wrongs they've done and received from people, and at the current rate of being petty, it's lazy storytelling.
