Aidan McQuade is an anti-slavery and human rights consultant who hails from South Armagh in Ireland. From 2006 until 2017, he was director of the non-governmental organisation, Anti-Slavery International, the world’s oldest human rights organisation. Prior to that, for 13 years he worked in humanitarian response, development and human rights. Aidan is also a patron of the Dalit Solidarity Network UK and an ambassador for the international Dalit Solidarity Network.He published his first novel, The Undiscovered Country, in 2020 with Unbound Books following a successful crowd-funding project, while Aidan can also boast of being the first Mastermind champion to appear on the Read All About It podcast, having won the competition in 2013.
