On Tuesday, the government announced their updated vaccination priority list - with those classified as at very high risk, being moved up the line. However, what about at-risk children? Currently, children under the age of 16 are at the bottom of the list to be vaccinated. Unless they have an underlying condition, their parents are second last, meaning it could well be after the summer before these groups can even start to leave their bubble. Cian Kearns from Ennistymon is father to 5-year-old Bodhie who has a rare form of dwarfism which puts her at severe risk if she contracts any respiratory illness - even the common cold. If Bodhie and others like her can’t be vaccinated due to their age, then her father believes that parents, as their children’s carers, should be prioritised. On Friday's Morning Focus, Gavin Grace spoke to Cian. Picture © Pixabay
