Hello Broad-WHAT? fans! We are so incredibly excited to present you with a new special series featuring recent graduates from acting programs around the country, and how they dealt with attending a performance arts school during the COViD-19 pandemic. Today is part one, featuring Emily Johnston, Jericho Cabinas, and Sarah Mercier. Originally from Montreal, Emily is a graduate from the Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto, where she still lives and which she fondly refers to as “the New York of Canada.” Find her on Instagram @emjohnston25 or on Facebook by searching up her name: Emily Johnston. Jericho is an Edmonton born actor who came to the city to go to Vancouver Acting School where he has now completed almost two years of training over two separate programs. He is currently auditioning and submitting for theatre, film, and TV. Find him on Instargram: @jerotic_ Finally, we have the incredibly lovely Sarah. She’s from a small town in northern Alberta called Bonnyville, where she studied piano, voice, and dance during her time at high school. She auditioned for a variety of schools across the country, but ultimately settled on Capilano University as recommended by her voice teacher. Find her on Facebook at Sarah Mercier or on Instagram at @sarahmercier_ Thanks so much for listening in today, and stay tuned for part two of this series coming at you next week.
