It's the secret fox-hunters desperately want to keep hidden from public knowledge. Every year, they teach thousands of puppies to kill by using young fox-cubs. It's a practice known as cub-hunting (or cubbing, or sometimes 'autumn hunting'). The reason they do this is even more shocking: hunts kill thousands of their own DOGS each year. Mostly they are perfectly healthy middle-aged dogs who aren't as fast as their fellow hounds. Some though are tiny puppies who are the "wrong" size or shape. Hayley Caldaralo from Stop Hunting Fox-Cubs talks about the brutal cycle of cruelty, while up-and-coming wildlife photographer Lawrie Brailey talks about his love of foxes...and why he has spent 6 years photographing them.
