The first week of the 2020-21 season was proceeding somewhat normally … or at least as normal as basketball can be in empty arenas in the midst of a pandemic. The good teams were mostly good, the bad teams were mostly bad, and there were some mixed results in between. This week on BallCourt, Coach Drew talks about the NBA New Season Kick-Off Teams and positions. The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets both end up on top this week. Despite suffering a loss each, they have the top two net ratings in the league and it's impossible to argue that any of those undefeated teams are better than them at this point. After that, things get a little wild in the rankings.
