Sierra Leonean sprinter Hafsatu Kamara - the flag bearer for Sierra Leone during the closing ceremony of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - is our guest on this first episode of Season Two of Bètá Convo Podcast with host Nadia Eke. Hafsa, as she's usually called, was born in the United States to Sierra Leonean parents and lived in Sierra Leone for some time during her childhood. She competed for Sierra Leone at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she finished 8th in her heat for the 100m and did not qualify for the semi-finals.
