The issue of Black and White relations in America is perhaps one of the most difficult conversations to have. Nevertheless it is a needed conversation, especially among church leaders. Bishop Nolan was invited by Pastor Fran Leeman start the conversation in front of his all white congregation. The primary objective was to enlighten the suburban white congregants about the experiences of blacks in America and point to heathy ways to respond to these realities.
