In terms of microsurgical breast reconstruction, you can take fat from a lot of different areas. - Dr. Chris Park The fat from your abdomen matches the feel of a breast a lot better than your buttock tissue. Buttock tissue is very hard and almost brick-like in some women. - Dr. Ryan Rebowe Some women are candidates for breast implants after breast-conserving therapy. - Dr. Ryan Rebowe It's easier to get coverage after a mastectomy for both breasts.
