Kids & Family

Wilde Parry is the founder of The Parent Hive, where she empowers parents to develop authentic connections with their children so they can feel the joy of truly seeing and being seen. She also holds a degree in Arts and masters in Special Education, is a digital mindful advocate, a personal brand photographer, mother of three boys (9 year old twins and a 3 year old). In her work, she identifies the roadblocks that parents and families encounter and build strategies and processes to help clear the blocks and build better habits. We discuss some of these strategies, including routine building and scheduling time specifically for each child. She is also working on a self study course that families can utilize at home in their own time to help bust down these barriers. The use of authentic relating games is also a frequent theme in her methodologies, and we go through what those games can look like and the benefits that can come from using these games. This episode is chock full of actionable steps and things you can do today to help with That Child and start strengthening the relationships you have with your family. Along with these steps, listen through for book recommendations and alternative therapy suggestions Wilde has for us. Parenting That Child doesn’t have to be a shot in the dark, and it is advocates like Wilde that really help build that support structure within our own homes to start today.
