Congratulations to Campbelltown City who are the 2018 NPL Champions after beating QLD NPL Champions Lions in the Grand Final yesterday. Campbelltown scored in the 5th and 32nd minute to lead 2 nil at half time. Lions got one back early in the second half, but it wasn’t enough as Campbelltown held on to win 2-1. Not only are they crowned champions, but they have also won themselves a place in next years FFA Cup round of 32. A peace agreement has been reached that could end Australian football's long-running governance saga. Barring a last-minute intervention by FFA chairman Steven Lowy, the agreement on changes to the FFA Constitution could be ratified this week. FFA members say the fresh agreement reaches a consensus position on the future governance of the sport in Australia.
