The bizarre cargo cults of the South Pacific developed shortly after WWII. The islanders believed that if proper ceremonies were performed shipments of riches would arrive from some heavenly place. The Urantia Foundation is a group of worshippers who believe celestial beings communicated through an unconfirmed or anonymous source to dictate "The Urantia Book."
