There is a family in Mundijong with three young children, and two of their children have been diagnosed with MLD “Meta-chromatic Leuko-dystrophy”, an inherited genetic disease with no cure, only treatment to extend life and slow down the disease. There’s a 1 in 40,000 chance of having the gene, with 1 in 4 chance of passing it to your children. Skwid had a chat with me this morning from Guardians of Innocence Perth and they are hosting a ride this weekend that is going through our Avon region to raise funds for this family in need. Macca’s Review of the Avon Footy Association games and also the Netball as well :) Always good hear how the games faired with Railways ending up coming out with the goods from the big Derby in Northam over the weekend James West lets us in on some great work he is doing with the PCYC and how the holiday activities are going for the kids as well as a quick chat about the upcoming ANZAC Day dawn service being held in Northam Sports with Saratsis- AFL only this morning, lot's to discuss with our WA sides showing some footy magic over the weekend and a look into the Anzac Day clash and upcoming Western Derby!
