Joining me on the next episode of It’s Bananas I have this wonderful woman, Cathy Boyd, who just released her first album! Cathy has been doing stand-up comedy for 4 years and showing that’s it’s never too late to start something amazing. She was crowned the Comedian of the North 2019 at the Thunder Bay competition winning $2,500!! Not only that, she has hosted shows at Absolute in Toronto and was supposed to middle in Ottawa until recent events. For now, she’s been writing a lot, taking it one day at a time, waiting for when the comedy venues open back up to get back on the grind. Cathy was also featured in CBC Comedy.
