GAME 7. 2 words that sports fans love to hear but athletes try to avoid. The Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors seasons both came down to a winner takes all Game 7 matchup last night in Orlando. A game 7 where the winner would move onto the Eastern Conference Finals and take on the Miami Heat for the right to play in the NBA Finals while the loser would be sent home to spend the summer asking the question WHAT IF. The Celtics won games 1 and 2 then lost game 3 on a buzzard beating 3 from Raptors forward OJ Anunoby to make it 2-1. Then lost game 4 in a close battle to tie the series up 2-2. The Celtics would then win game 5 in dominating fashion before blowing their 1st chance to clinch the series in game 6 as they failed with a double overtime loss that featured a horrendous performance from PG Kemba Walker and some bad turnovers and plays from the young duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. So the Celtics last night put it all on the line with a lot riding on the outcome of game 7. The Celtics and Raptors battled in a game that came down to the wire for the 2nd game in a row and the 3rd time in the series before ultimatly some big players by Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum sealed the deal to give the Celtics the victory.
