Miscellaneous

The Celtics on our last show were fresh off getting beaten by the 76ers for the 3rd and final time in the regular season giving the 76ers the knowledge that they will be undefeated against the Celtics if they meet in the playoffs. The team was being called out by fans and NBA Analysts for not getting the job done a single time and since then have now played 5 games. The first 2 we discussed on our last show which were a 145-136 OT win over the Timberwolves and a 101-99 win over the Knicks. Since our last show the Celtics went on a 3 game Western Conference Road trip which saw them play 3 of the better teams in the Western Conference in the Nuggets, Trailblazers and Lakers. The Celtics managed to keep the win streak alive by defeating the Denver Nuggets in the Road Trip opener 105-87 where despite trailing going into the 4th the Celtics used a 31-8 4th quarter advantage to blow out the Nuggets. This game saw all 4 Boston Starters score in double figures. Then 2 nights later the Celtics were victorious 116-115 over the Portland Trailblazers in a game that saw both teams keep it close with the largest lead being only 9 points and once again all 5 Boston starters scored in double digits this time with atleast 13 points a piece. 2 nights later the Celtics took on the Lakers in a game that saw the Lakers play without Lebron James and Anthony Davis as well as a number of their main players. The Celtics managed to go up by close to 30 before ultimately Brad Stevens opted to take out their main players and placed the 3rd unit in and saw in a span of 5 minutes the game transformed to a 2 possession game before Brad Stevens had to send out members of the 1st and 2nd unit to finish the job for the last 2 minutes of the game. We will be joined by Adam Taylor (@AdamTaylorNBA on twitter) of CelticsBlog as we discuss the last 3 games. Did the 3rd unit proved they shouldnt see the floor no more? Plus we look towards the showdowns with Phoenix and Brooklyn
