Jesus told His followers, just before His death, that He was leaving them a gift - peace. But not a peace like the world gives. Peace to the world around us is merely the absence of conflict or strife. The peace Jesus gives overwhelms our hearts and minds in the midst of, and often in spite of, our circumstances.
