Today we talk with Shane Rosenthal, host of the White Horse Inn Podcast. White Horse Inn is a multi-media catalyst for reformation.  Their mission is to help Christians “know what they believe and why they believe it” through conversational theology.  Those conversations take place through their radio show and podcast, a magazine, events, books, blog, and social media formats.  As they “seek to serve churches who want to fulfill their divinely-mandated mission at a time when so many churches are transforming the Christian faith into forms of consumerism, pragmatism, politics, entertainment, and moralistic therapy”. You can learn more at whitehorseinn.org  Shane has a Master’s degree in Historical Theology from Westminster Seminary California and serves as a ruling elder at Christ Presbyterian Church in St. Charles, Missouri. Some of the many topics we cover include, that he is super well versed in are: Shane’s thoughts on the need for true discipleship in more churches vs. entertainment, and how pastors and parents can more effectively mentor the next generation in truth, and the ways churches might grow disciples and not consumers. Also, Shane shares thoughts on how God could be using the current crisis to further His kingdom, and how the shut down is effecting Day to day operations at the White Horse Inn.
