Leading candidates in the N.C. primary races for U.S. Senate and governor make their closing arguments ahead of the Super Tuesday primary elections on March 3. U.S. Senate Democratic Primary Cal Cunningham and Erica Smith are squaring off for the chance to take on incumbent Republican Thom Tillis. Cunningham is leading in the polls and has outraised Smith, but the story of this race has most recently centered on a Republican group producing ads to boost Erica Smith’s campaign and hurt Cunningham’s campaign. Both sides have disavowed the ads, but will the pro-Smith ads have an impact on the race? Republican Gubernatorial Primary This race pits Lt. Governor Dan Forest against N.C. Representative Holly Grange. The Republicans are hoping to get the chance to run against incumbent and Democrat Roy Cooper. Forest has dominated in polls and fundraising, but Grange is still hoping for an upset.   Tim and Ben are also getting you squared away on what you need to know to vote in the March 3 primary.   JOIN THE CONVERSATION Do you have any thoughts or questions for Tim?
