Bonnie and Doug visit with Track Announcer Corey Litton of Checkers and Wreckers about this weekend's races, including locally, World of Outlaws and NASCAR.  Corey joins us every Friday at 6:40am during the racing season. Checkers and Wreckers is brought to you by 7th Ave. Auto Salvage and Buffalo River Speedway.     CHECKERS AND WRECKERS FOR FRIDAY, JULY 23RD WHAT HAPPENED FRIDAY-WORLD OF OUTLAW LATE MODELS-RIVER CITIES SPEEDWAY-GRAND FORKS Tucker Pederson started off the night with the Street Stock win.  Then it was Austin Pierce winning in the NOSA Sprints.  Dennis Erb Jr. battled Jimmy Mars and lapped traffic to take the big win in the Late Models.  SATURDAY-WORLD OF OUTLAW LATE MODELS-I94 SPEEDWAY-FERGUS FALLS Corey Storck split the leaders as they wrecked down the back stretch and held on to win the Midwest Mod feature.  Parker Anderson was the Steffes Street Stock Tour winner.  And Frank Heckenest Jr. won the Late Model Main event. SUNDAY-RED RIVER VALLEY FAIR RACE-RED RIVER VALLEY SPEEDWAY The Hobby Stocks were won by Brodee Eckerdt.  Then Trent Grager won another big Stock Car Main.  Dave Shipley won in the Modifieds.  Then “The Fort Ripley Rocket” Jake Hageman won the 40 lap, $1000 to win Sportmod main event. TUESDAY-RED RIVER KART CLUB Rain forced the RRKC to move to a rare Tuesday race.  The big winners were Caleb Brejcha, Brady Heilman, Dalton Babcock, Owen Springer, brothers Andrew and Alex Clark, and Vince Noble. THURSDAY-ADVANTAGE RV MODIFIED TOUR-NORMAN COUNTY RACEWAY Scary accident in the heat races as Dustin Strand violently rolled down the back stretch 5 times.  He was shaken up and taken in for observation but was able to walk to the ambulance.  When racing resumed, Scott Jacobson got the Sportmod win.  Followed by Aaron Blacklance who threw such impressive sliders, Greg Maddux stood up and applauded.  Rob VanMil was able to outrun all the other Stock Cars.  And Jeremy Nelson was your Modified main event winner. NASCAR Aric Almirola picked up the impressive win in New Hampshire ending Stewart-Haas Racings winless streak for the year.  Denny Hamlin still is the point leader by 13 over Kyle Larson who leads in the Play Off standings as NASCAR’s winningest driver this year so far.
