Cultivate your French

Education

This is Laetitia and you are listening to Cultivate Your French podcast, the slow version of One Thing In A French Day podcast. I hope you are well and happy. When we were in Cluny our friends Florence and Sébastien came from Lyon to stay with us for two days. Sébastien and my daughter Felicia were friends at school before his family moved to Lyon two years ago. In June, I told his mother Florence that we were coming to Cluny in July. Cluny is only an hour from Lyon by car. We visited the abbaye de Cluny on wednesday, the day of their arrival. It was a very interesting visit. There isn’t much to see because the big abbey had been destroyed after the French Revolution. But we had a wonderful guide who explained everything so well that we could imagine it. The following day, we rented bikes and part of us rode to Cormatin castle. I had a nice conversation with Emmanuel who owns the bike rental shop and he agreed to talk about his job for the podcast. This is what you are going to hear in today’s episode.    Thank you so much for your enthousiasm about the podcast! All the information about the transcripts is available in English at cultivateyourfrench.com
