Times on the diamond were peaceful, until the giants came from across the sea. With them, too, came the strangely energizing and enigmatic juice, which soon covered the entirety of the known world. The fabric of human civilization itself strains under the pounding of earth-shattering feet—and the Eternal, Divine Game drags on for ceaseless millennia, spiraling society into a brutal hellscape in which only the strong (and the lucky) can hope to survive.
