This week I speak to Dave, who has lived with type 1 diabetes for over 40 years after being diagnosed at the age of three. Dave talks through his memories of growing up using glass syringes and steel needles. Dave's daughter Martha received a type 1 diagnosis in 2019 at the age of 12 and he chats about how that's impacted his entire family.
